Our Sunday services are at Sawston Village College, Lower School Hall, 9:30am, until 10:40am. Refreshments are available afterwards. We love families and
optional childcare is provided with a crèche for 0-3 year olds, and children’s church for 3-11 year olds.
On a Sunday the children can expect to meet with the whole church family for the start of the service before they leave for there own group. 0-3 year olds are welcome in the crèche where there will be helpers to play with and look after them. Children’s church for 3-11 year olds is lead by a team of helpers. Here the children are taught about the same bible passage as the adults, at their level. We will play games, sing songs and pray together before breaking into smaller groups more activities. The children will then join the adults again at the end of the service. Hopefully, families can talk over lunch and during the week about what they learned.
Visitors are always really welcome and children are free to join in with as much or as little as they feel comfortable.
The Group

We look at the bible, learn about Jesus, laugh a lot, and love games.
Look forward to seeing you there.

Although our Sunday services lie at the heart of what we do, our midweek homegroups are a vital part of our church family life. These smaller groups give us the opportunity to get to know each other better, read the Bible and pray together, and care for each other. Groups meet in member's homes at 8pm on Wednesday evenings and from 10am Thursday mornings. The morning group has a crèche for babies and toddlers.
Once a term, after our mid-term outreach fortnight, we invite an outsider speaker in and all try to meet together on a Saturday morning to be encouraged, pray, have a meal together, and get "recharged".
Once a term we drop everything, and spend two weeks trying to serve the village and make it very easy to hear about Jesus. Sometimes we put on fun events where there's a short talk about Jesus, sometimes we do a children's holiday club. These are mid-term fortnights of events geared specially to those who don't know Jesus.
This is a relaxed and informal way to find out more about the Christian faith. Great for those who are
finding out for the first time, or just want to brush up on the basics. Designed for the casual enquirer, you won't be asked to pay, pray, read aloud, or sing.
If you would like to take part in any of these groups please contact us.
